Sparkling Power is a Meal Power you get from sandwiches in Scarlet and Violet. It boosts shiny odds for wild Pokémon of one chosen type.
Levels
- Level 1: +1 roll, about 1 in 2,048.
- Level 2: +2 rolls, about 1 in 1,365.
- Level 3: +3 rolls, about 1 in 1,024.
With the Shiny Charm, Level 3 is about 1 in 683. Add a mass outbreak with 60+ cleared and it reaches about 1 in 512, the best wild rate in these games.
How to get it
- A sandwich needs at least two Herba Mystica to give Sparkling Power. You can win Herba Mystica from 5-star, 6-star and 7-star Tera Raids.
- From The Indigo Disk, the Blueberry Academy cafeteria sells a menu item for 150 BP that gives Sparkling Power Level 1 with no Herba Mystica needed.
- Meal Powers last 30 minutes from when the sandwich is made.
- Every Meal Power except Egg Power is tied to one Pokémon type, so Sparkling Power only helps the type it was made for.
What it does not affect
Eggs, Tera Raids, wild Tera Pokémon and fixed wandering encounters get no Sparkling Power bonus.
Legends: Z-A
Legends: Z-A also has Sparkling Power, but it works differently there. Serebii lists it at +1 to +3 rolls on the base rate, and Level 3 also guarantees a shiny of that type in a Hyperspace Lumiose run.
